A note from the designer.

My favorite philosophy when it comes to design and wardrobe is "choose well, make it last" - this is one of those pieces I can see sticking around for a very long time. I wanted to design a piece that I could wear any and every day, whatever the occasion; whether it was to be the final piece thrown over an entire muti-garment ensemble or paired solely over a simple knit dress. The key design considerations were to have room for layering underneath while also balancing a sense of structure. In the design process, I achieved these considerations through the wide raglan sleeve, boxy silhouette, and back vent. The structure came to fruition through the addition of the wide lapel collar, which adds elegance and versatility for pairing the piece up to a more formal look. A beautiful vintage jacket, I saw while in the process of finalizing the sample, inspired the back flap. After adapting the back flap to fit the contemporary silhouette of this piece, it is now my favorite design feature. I love the distinctive flow it adds to the movement of the piece. I hope this piece adds a unique element to your collection of timeless pieces; that it is represented by you on many days and in many different ways, as it was intended.

Garment Care

Caring for your linen garment is easy! You can machine wash in cold or warm water with gentle detergent. Tumble drying on a low setting helps soften the linen.

Our products are pre-washed to prevent additional shrinkage. The exception is our lined jackets and coats. Our lined jackets should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cold water and hung to dry.

Wrinkles are part of linen's natural charm, but if you prefer a pressed look, use a medium-heat iron or a garment steamer. Hanging your linen item in a steamy bathroom can also help remove wrinkles.

Our Linen Spray is a great way to freshen up and soften wrinkles on natural fiber garments and bed linens, and it's especially handy for traveling.

One of the most eco-friendly fibres, as well as being one of the strongest natural fibres.
Our linen is a weight of 240gsm so it will be durable for everyday use.

A Guide to Taking your own Measurements

If you know your desired finished inseam, length, rise etc for a garment, please indicate that instead/ or along with your actual body measurements, as we can make the garment to those exact specifications. For example - if you have an existing pair of pants that is the perfect length for you, take the inseam measurement off that garment.

Basic Measurements

Basic Measurements

Bust: The measurement around your body at the fullest part of your bust. Relax your arms at your side when recording, as this will give you the most accurate result. Make sure to hold the tape firmly enough that it does not dip down at your back.

Waist: The measurement around your body that is typically at the smallest part of your torso. To double check where your waist is, bend to one side and the crease that forms is your natural waistline.

Hips: The hip measurement is not taken around the top of your hip bone, but taken around your body at the fullest point of your hips/bottom.

Height: Make sure to measure while in bare feet or flat shoes.

Romper Measurements

Girth: To measure girth, place a tape measure at the top of your shoulder, then down through the crotch and back to the same shoulder.

Inseam: The inseam measurement is taken by measuring the distance between the top inside of your thigh and the bottom of your ankle (or where you want the romper to be hemmed to - this can vary depending on the style).

Pant Measurements

Inseam: The inseam measurement is taken from the distance between the top inside of your thigh and the bottom of your ankle (or where you want the pant to be hemmed to - this can vary depending on the style).

Front Rise: Measure from the centre front of your natural waist to your crotch.

Back Rise: Measure from the centre front of your natural waist and under your crotch to the centre back of your natural waist. Subtract your front rise from the measurement you have just taken and that will give you your back rise calculation.

Across Back Shoulder: Measure from the bone at the top of the shoulder, across the back of neck, to the bone at the top of the opposite shoulder.

We offer customizations to any of our base styles. These include (but are not limited to):

Many other customizations can be accommodated and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions as to how we can customize a style.

Do you charge extra for customizations?

Yes. These adjustments often require an extra 30 minutes up to 3 hours of additional work on each garment. To ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality, bespoke garments you love, we apply a 10% customization fee to pattern modifications (reflected in the custom variant price). This allows us to allocate the necessary time and care to each individual customized order without raising prices across our entire collection.

We do offer elastic customizations and custom inseam lengths at no additional charge!

If I don't request any customizations, is my garment still made-to-order?

Yes. Unless you are ordering from our ready-to-ship section; all garments are made-to-order, even if you are ordering a base size w/o any customizations.

Our current lead time is 2-3 weeks for all our made-for-you garments.

Returns & Exchanges?

Getting you into a garment you love is our #1 priority. If that doesn't happen for any reason, our return portal makes for a seamless exchange experience. We gladly offer returns within 14 days of receiving your package. Your options:

EXCHANGE: One option is to exchange your garment for a different size and/or color of the same style; or you may also choose to customize sizing on your exchange. We will work with you to make a new garment with the perfect fit.

STORE CREDIT: If a style you ordered isn't what you were expecting or just isn't right for you - our team is here to help. Store credit will be issued in the form of a digital gift card that never expires once we receive your garment back to the studio.
