Everything you need to know -size wise!

Below we’ll guide you through everything you need to know to get the perfect fit. Starting with information on our base sizes, how made-for-you sizing works, how to properly take your measurements, and what information we need from you to customize your sizing if you require it!

The Perfect Fit

Made for You Sizing

Our “standard” size information

Our standard size range is from 2X-Small to 4X-Large. Since each of our styles have different fit nuances, we do not have one blanket size chart that works for all our styles. We take the time to create a detailed measurement sizing chart for each individual garment. This is found on each product page in the product description section. If you are still unsure of your size please include your measurements + height in the "order notes" section. It’s always helpful to add specific fit preference notes - for example “I prefer a loose fit on the hips”. We review these order notes before cutting your order and will make adjustments or reach out if we need more information.

Made-for-You sizing explained

There is no better feeling of comfort than a garment that fits you perfectly. We are strong believers that everyone deserves a garment that helps them feel great. We are thrilled to offer an inclusive size range, but we also understand that every single human is a unique size. If you don’t fit into one of our base sizes from head-to-toe, we’ve got you! We offer fit customization at no extra cost. Our made-for-you approach gives you the freedom to alter pieces for that just-right fit—whether you want a little more room in the hips, a few more inches at the hem or a higher rise. Your pattern is saved for future orders, so it’s ready and waiting as you grow your collection.

Using Your Measurements To Customize An Order

When ordering online, include your measurements, and/or customization request in the text box on the product page. This note will be attached to your order and we will make the appropriate adjustments before cutting out your order.

The Tools You Will Need

Grab yourself a flexible measuring tape, pen, and paper. A full length mirror will also be useful to make sure you are measuring in the right spot and to check that the tape does not get twisted. It can also be helpful to grab a partner to assist you in taking those trickier to reach measurements.

Where to Start

First, it's best to remove any bulky clothing and to be wearing the undergarments that you would typically wear underneath the item you are fitting for. This is especially important for bras, as the type of bra you wear can change your bust measurement.

A Guide to Taking your own Measurements

If you know your desired finished inseam, length, rise etc for a garment, please indicate that instead/ or along with your actual body measurements, as we can make the garment to those exact specifications. For example - if you have an existing pair of pants that is the perfect length for you, take the inseam measurement off that garment.

Basic Measurements

Bust:
The measurement around your body at the fullest part of your bust. Relax your arms at your side when recording, as this will give you the most accurate result. Make sure to hold the tape firmly enough that it does not dip down at your back.

Waist: The measurement around your body that is typically at the smallest part of your torso. To double check where your waist is, bend to one side and the crease that forms is your natural waistline.

Hips: The hip measurement is not taken around the top of your hip bone, but taken around your body at the fullest point of your hips/bottom.

Height: Make sure to measure while in bare feet or flat shoes.

Romper Measurements

Girth:
To measure girth, place a tape measure at the top of your shoulder, then down through the crotch and back to the same shoulder.

Inseam: The inseam measurement is taken by measuring the distance between the top inside of your thigh and the bottom of your ankle.

Pant Measurements

Inseam:
The inseam measurement is taken from the distance between the top inside of your thigh and the bottom of your ankle.

Front Rise: Measure from the centre front of your natural waist to your crotch.

Back Rise: Measure from the centre front of your natural waist and under your crotch to the centre back of your natural waist. Subtract your front rise from the measurement you have just taken and that will give you your back rise calculation.

Jacket Measurements

Across Back Shoulder:
Measure from the bone at the top of the shoulder, across the back of neck, to the bone at the top of the opposite shoulder.

Sleeve Length: With arm relaxed at your side and slightly bent, measure from top of shoulder down to your wrist.

These measurements are just numbers

They should never be associated with your self-worth. Instead use these numbers as a tool to get a perfectly fitting garment that makes you feel incredible and empowered.
