A note from the designer.
We named this special piece the Austen Dress because of its classic sophistication. Perfect for a garden party, or a special event, while at the same time comfy enough to wear around the house or out for a stroll. The bodice of this dress offers a tailored fit that accentuates your curves, while the pleated skirt creates movement and fluidity.
Linen straps ruched with 1" elastic ensure a comfortable and secure fit, while inseam pockets add functionality and convenience. Elastic spans the back empire bodice portion of the dress, creating a ruching detail and secure and flexible fit. Pair it with heels and statement jewelry for a sophisticated evening look, or dress it down with sandals and a sun hat for a casual daytime look. For chillier months, layering under this piece couldn't be easier!

Garment Care
Caring for your linen garment is easy! You can machine wash in cold or warm water with gentle detergent. Tumble drying on a low setting helps soften the linen.
Our products are pre-washed to prevent additional shrinkage. The exception is our lined jackets and coats. Our lined jackets should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cold water and hung to dry.
Wrinkles are part of linen's natural charm, but if you prefer a pressed look, use a medium-heat iron or a garment steamer. Hanging your linen item in a steamy bathroom can also help remove wrinkles.
Our Linen Spray is a great way to freshen up and soften wrinkles on natural fiber garments and bed linens, and it's especially handy for traveling.
